I confirm that here too the workaround does not work. On the same hware it
works flawlessly with windows, and worked very well with earlier releases of
opensuse.

Being able to listen CDs on the computer is something normal since more than 15
years. I am then surprised that this bug is flagged as low priority whereas it
should be considered nowadays as a showstopper
