Hubert,
I've try this issue in 11.1, and found it works fine.
In my laptop 147.2.207.124, after the VPN connect, the new interface in
164.99.194.21. My hostname is 'Ashu'.
Now I ping the Ashu.local, it resolved as VPN ip, 164.99.194.21.
From another laptop, 147.2.207.96, hostname is Azi, ping the Ashu.local, it
resolved as 147.2.207.124 whenever I connect VPN or not.
So it don't affects function in Zeroconf.
And also if I connect the wireless in my laptop (Ashu), then ping Ashu.local,
it resolved as the wireless ip. From the another laptop (Azi), it still works
fine.
So this issue is not relate to the VPN, it's in the avahi-daemon itself.
If you have any issue about it, I'll close this bug for invalid in this
weekend.
