I am usinng the update-test repository and got an update for java 1.6 u12
today.

Sadly this makes my firefox hang completely going on any java enabled site.

/etc/alternatives/javaplugin was set to
/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-sun-1.6.0/jre/lib/i386/libnpjp2.so after the update.

Setting it to
/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-sun-1.6.0/jre/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so
solves the problem for me.
