Summary: Application crash reporting DMA memory lack
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 11.1
Version: Final
Platform: i586
OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Other
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: jayambe40@xxxxxxxxxxx
QAContact: qa@xxxxxxx
CC: jayambe40@xxxxxxxxxxx
Found By: ---
Different applications (Google Earth 5.0, Stellarium 0.10.1) crash during
execution (after running for a while: GE / during startup: Stellarium ) leaving
a reminder to "consider revising GART memory / reporting insufficient DMA
memory".
I haven't found any of these variables in the accessible configuration tools
(Yast2).
relevant system components:
Dell inspiron 9200 i586-system
grafics model: Mesa DRI R300 20060815 AGP 4x x86/MMX/SSE2 TCL
grafics driver: 1.3 Mesa 7.2
installed RAM 2.0 GB
So where can I change these GART or DMA values?
Which values could be better /do you propose?
If you need further information just contact me!
Thanks a lot!
