Yes, that will work. It's just kernel versions starting with 2.6.29* that I'd
like to avoid for now.

Another reporter claimed that kernel-debug altered the timing enough on his
system so that he couldn't reproduce anymore. I'd also be interested in seeing
if you're able to reproduce it with kernel-vanilla.
