No, the problem doesn't involve vmware. We tested it on native SLES10 SP2 back
in Dec. last year.

Right now, the versions for OS I'm using are: (Both of 32 bit and 64 bit)

sles10-64-071:/home/vmware # uname -a
Linux sles10-64-071 2.6.16.60-0.21-smp #1 SMP Tue May 6 12:41:02 UTC 2008
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

sles10-32-fpt-071:/home/vmware # uname -a
Linux sles10-32-fpt-071 2.6.16.60-0.21-smp #1 SMP Tue May 6 12:41:02 UTC 2008
i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

It happens on driver ixgbe and also bnx2x.
