Why is it running if there never ever was a bt device? I know you're probably
not the right person to ask this question but maybe you know who to ask ;)

You might plug an usb bluetooth thingie, in which case you'd be happy to see it
just work. It would probably be possible to had some --exit-if-no-bluetooth
parameter to the program, but this would go upstream (bugzilla.gnome.org). If
you freel strongly about this, please open a bug there (or I can do that if you
prefer).
