https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=467182 Summary: No video with xine on external Monitor Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Packman Repository AssignedTo: guru@unixtech.be ReportedBy: klei6b05@uni-trier.de QAContact: hvogel@novell.com Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.19) Gecko/20081213 SUSE/1.1.14-3.1 SeaMonkey/1.1.14 I use an external monitor on my Acer Travelmate 4000. When I open video files in Kaffeine, they are only displayed on the notebook display, not on the external monitor. Kaffeine shows a dark blue area instead. Videos in Avidemux or flash video player in a browser work well. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: The problem occurs, when I select Dual Head and Cloned Multihead in the SaX/YaST moniror configuration dialog. With Xinerama Multihead all works well. When I deselect Dual Head at all, I don't get any X system after next reboot, only konsole. Actual Results: Kaffeine doesn't display the video, but a dark blue area. Expected Results: Kaffeine should display the video file, I selected and which plays perfect on the internal notebook display. Graphics card is ATI Mobility Radeon 9600. Because of a bug in the ATI driver (http://ati.cchtml.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1375) I can't use this driver at the moment. I use Kaffeine 0.8.7-2.pm.2 and libxine1 1.1.16.1-0.pm.0. Both from Packman. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
