I'm afraid in that case the only thing we could do is using vesa driver by
default for this NVIDIA chip.

  Vendor: pci 0x10de "nVidia Corporation"
  Device: pci 0x03d0 "GeForce 6100 nForce 430"

Fixed for Factory (upcoming openSUSE 11.2) and possibly also SLE11.

I can't reprodcue the issue with a GeForce 8400 GS, which should behave rather
similar as a GeForce 8500 GT.
