The feature I asked for is just download packages/patches/updates in the same
way zypper does (with dependencies, of course), without installing them but
keeping in cache.
At home I have a 16Kb/s connection, and a simple 'zypper dup' can take hours,
even days, and sometimes aborts because repos has ben updated meanwhile.
So, the goal is download all the necessary packages/versions before to install
them.
I'm not interested in maintaining a local copy of one or more repositories with
a lot of packages I don't need, but reuse downloaded packages in my other two
computers instead of download them newly over my slow connection.
In comment 3 you say this feature is already tracked, then I don't understand
why are we closing this bug as "wontfix".
Thanks.
