Will not be the case anymore. Yesterday I've checked the qemu-dm-*.logs and
I've seen the error...
On Xen from OpenSUSE 11.0 and from 10.3 (I had 2 upgrades until now on that
system), I had in the xend-config.sxp file:
(network-script network-bridge)
as it's default at install time. In domU configuration files, had something
like:
vif = [ 'mac=00:16:3e:00:10:01, bridge=xenbr0' ]
for ALL the machines, hvm and paravirtualized ones (with unique mac for every
machine). Seems that setup worked until 11.1.
But the interesting part is that the paravirtualized machines WORK with
"bridghe=xenbr0"!!! That's why I didn't knew where to start to debug my
problem...
But seems that qemu doesn't like this bridge=xenbr0, since, in 11.1 there is no
more xenbr0 as bridge, just eth0 (in my default configuration, and after system
upgrade).
I deleted the part with bridge=xenbr0 from the hvm machines and now they have
network. Interesting part is that I didn't removed thew bridge=xenbr0 part from
the paravirtualized machines and they are still working!
Anyway, the server it's in production and I can't stop it, to fix more things,
I have to do it in one night. I want to try to configure in xend-config a
bridge name and use it in all domU configuration files...
