I have a similar problem. I upgraded from openSUSE 11.0 (where EVERYTHING
worked fined) to openSUSE 11.1 (boot with net x64 disk, choose upgrade etc) and
now I don't have network for hvm machines :(

I didn't used NetworkManager, I allways turn it off on my machines(even
desktop, since I use multiple IPs)...
