Opensuse 11.1 comes with opensource driver for NVIDIA card installed by
default.

For my hardware it seems to be broken because I can't login into KDE4. It
simply comes back to login screen short after it tries to start KDE4.

I previously reported this problem as comment #8 in bug 450893
(https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=450893#c7) but at that time I
didn't know what is the cause.

I still could log into KDE3 but in KDE3 I noticed that sysinfo:/ didn't work.
Of course, sysinfo displays some information about graphic card so I came to
idea that this might be different aspect of the same issue.

After installing nvidia proprietary driver all problems have disappeared.

I rate this as critical bug because default setup (if KDE3 is not installed)
simply does not work and user have hard times to figure out how to fix it.
