Okay, I've removed

and replaced it by your entry.

Than, I've done:
- init 3
- sax2
- The sax2-screen is ugly (I asume 1280x1024)
- Selecting nevertheless directly "Save" (not "Change configuration"!).
- init 5
- screen is badly at 1280x1024

So I've made a new try:

- init 3
- sax2
- The sax2-screen is ugly (I asume 1280x1024)
- This time selecting "Change configuration"
- The config dialog has preselected 1920x1080 (although the screen is
  ugly, I asume 1280x1024)
- I change the configuration of my keyboard from "nodeadkeys" to "basic".
- Click on "save"
- A dialog appears, asking for test or exit
- choosing "test"
- the test screen is fine 1920x1080
- leaving sax2
- init 5
- The X server starts fine at 1920x1080

So by default it still doesn't work... Only when I make changes to the
configuration...

The corresponding logs are attached.
