Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1
Status: NEW
Severity: Minor
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Basesystem
AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: F.Schuette@xxxxxxxxxxx

Hallo,
I installed an application with spaces below /opt (/opt/SMART Technologies
..).
The script /etc/profile.d/xdg-environment.sh searches for
"application" directories below /opt and fails with
"-bash: test: /opt/SMART: binary operator expected".
Proposed fix:
Surround the pathnames in line 24 of the mentioned script with quotes (")
makes this message go away.
Bye,
Frank
