https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=462618 Summary: rescue language setting Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: hpj@urpla.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer In older releases, it was enough to specify language=de_DE keytable=de-lat1-nd as a linuxrc option (I usually do use the pxe linux method). This seems to not work anymore, and it's a pain to work with the us english setting in a german environment. For reference, I use this pxelinux.cfg setting for rescue: # openSUSE 11.1 rescue label rescue kernel suse111 append initrd=suse111-rd vga=791 splash=silent console=ttyS0,19200 console=tty0 usedhcp=1 language=de_DE keytable=de-lat1-nd install=nfs://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/srv/suse/11.1/repo/oss?device=eth0 rescue=1 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
