https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=462014 Summary: Problems in the CD-LIVE installer (KDE4/GNOME versions) Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: adripred@ig.com.br QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Community User Hi, I have the following problems in the CD-LIVE installer (KDE4 or GNOME): 1 - The partitioner does not accept another partition scheme that is not automatically created for him: For example, I tried to create a new partition scheme and the mountpoints that does not change the current partitions scheme, because I have recorded data on the partition "/home" but the partitioner keep the scheme automatically created for him, where the current partitions are deleted (the funny thing is that he wants to delete the partitions to generate the same in a different order and size...). I always did this in the same way in previous versions of Opensuse and always worked, that is, installed the new version in the existing partitions. 2 - On installation, I setup GRUB to be installed only in the root partition "/" (in my case, /dev/sda7) and he also installed in the MBR. After the system is installed (usually what happened), I tried to change that in Yast2 and does not accept my changes (when I save the new settings and open it again, the Bootloader configuration shows the original settings, equal to the partitioner of the Live-CD installer).
