https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=461373 Summary: Erratic mouse behavior, clicking causes "clicks" in wrong places Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: sndirsch@novell.com ReportedBy: shadewind@gmail.com QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: Community User When I first log in, the mouse is working fine. But after a few minutes, weird things happen. When I click on something and then click on something else, the click seems to happen on the first place I clicked as if the pointer "got stuck". The pointer is moving allright but it seems that mouse events happen in the wrong places. Sometimes, this means I cannot click on anything at all, nothing works. Right-clicking on the current application seems to fix it temporarily so that the specific application works but as soon as I want to switch application, it's the same thing again. It is quite hard to explain this behavior, but in few words, clicks seem to happen in the wrong places all the time, or rather in the wrong application. This seems to happen both when using Compiz and Metacity. I'm using openSUSE 11.1 with GNOME on a Lenovo ThinkPad R61 with an nVidia Quadro NVS140M graphics card and the 177-series binary drivers that come with 11.1. The touchpad is an ALPS touchpad. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
