--- Comment #23 from Frerk Meyer 2008-12-15 14:05:21 MST ---
Same error here. My Lenovo 3000 N200 Laptop has a iwl3945 network card:
04:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG [Golan]
Network Connection (rev 02)
06:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation NetLink BCM5906M Fast
Ethernet PCI Express (rev 02)
linux-ibe7:~ # lsmod |grep iwl
iwl3945 97844 0
rfkill 11108 2 iwl3945
mac80211 243328 1 iwl3945
led_class 5072 1 iwl3945
cfg80211 28424 2 iwl3945,mac80211
Next I tried 2 times to connect with networkmanager via KDE3 Front-End. Both
times it was first established, but then disassociated and it was not my
request. Then I configured for a static IP (192.168.178.20) and it worked
instantly.
linux-ibe7:~ # dmesg |grep wlan0

So the connection drops when the IP number is fetched by dhcp.

Hopefully this bug is fixed in the released version 11.1.
It worked with OpenSuSE 10.3 on the same hardware.
I'm no more reachable under frerk.meyer@edeka.de, but under frerk.meyer@gmx.de.
