Hi,
As of 01122008 Apache 2.2.8-28.4 is the version pushed to openSuSE 11.0 by the
update repository. As such it will appear via zypper and you will be advised to
install it.

I have found however that this version prevents the Apache server from being
able to act as a forward proxy. Error on start up is:

$ rcapache2 restart
httpd2-prefork: Syntax error on line 95 of /etc/apache2/httpd.conf: Cannot load
/usr/lib/apache2/mod_proxy.so into server: /usr/lib/apache2/mod_proxy.so:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory


The fix is to copy mod_proxy.so into /usr/lib/apache2. For some reason it is
missing from the update.
