I have a DOS-formatted floppy and want to read/write data from/to it. I inserted the floppy, went to Application Launcher (in the left-bottom corner of the workspace). In the "Computer" sub-menu I went into "Removable Storage" and there I clicked onto "PC Floppy Drive". Upon this action I got the following error message from Plasma workspace: "Unable to run the command specified. The file or folder file:// does not exist." However the floppy was mounted anyway (as /media/disk ). The bottom thing is that the user (without root privileges) has no way how to unmount the floppy drive.
