Thanks, Edward, for checking this. Can you use a utility to dump the PCI
device memory?
Am I reading the message log correctly that the device did not work? If it
didn't work, then that kind of hurts our case to say that this is BIOS issue
(since it works with Windows, but fails with 32 and 64 bit Linux).

I will install 32bit Opensuse11 on my system today and see if it works. What
commands or details do I need to get from the system?
