If only it were so simple...
Column handling changed a lot with Qt4. It used to be pretty smart in Qt3, but
now most of the responsiblity is being relegated to the application.
Unfortunately, there is no mode that does all the things we' like to have here:
Adapt to content width, stretch to use all available space, yet allow the user
to resize the columns manually. Those three options are now mutually exclusive.
