--- Comment #4 from andreas bittner 2008-12-02 04:23:56 MST ---
i just re-verified this problem:
i even did a completely clean install of 11.1rc1 x86 dvd iso download.
i selected kde4.1 desktop, automatic install/config, created one user.
after reboot/install once the system was finished, i removed the 11.1rc1 dvd
from the drive
once 11.1rc1 came up i logged in with the normal user i created, i selected
yast2, entered root password, went directly to the "online update
configuration", pressed the advanced button there, selected to register for
onlineupdate/repository sources, deselected the hardware/personal information
stuff there.
then it worked a little while, and then it brings up an error dialogbox:
-------------------
yast2 <2> insert '(Disc 1)'
shwow details
automatically eject cd or dvd mediium.
retry abort skip eject...
---------------------
it looks for /dev/sr0.....
this has never happened before with older suse installations :(
