No - actually I have not written that I have used RC1, I wrote (in my bug
report) that I used Factory as of yesterday. The original reporter of this bug
report wrote:
 "I've updated from last beta to rc1 (exactly, I've installed with mini iso and
  factory repository and made a "zypper dup" now)"
If the mini iso uses the Factory tree, it might also have picked up an older
version.

As far as I can see remotely, with openSUSE Factory of today, X11 works again.

Manfred Tremmel: Can you update and also check whether it works now?
