Yes, but kernel 2.6.27.7-8.1 is installed via updates, but sources are
2.6.27.7-4.1, and in this case it's not possible to compile something like
proprietary Nvidia modules and drivers.

I'd to downgrade to kernel 2.6.27.7-4.1 to install Nvidia drivers.

Can you explain us how we can test and install some modules if in the 11.1RC1
we can't compile modules because kernel version and source versions are
inconsistant ?

So, please put the kernel-source 2.6.27.7-8.1 in update repository : just to
have something consistent to test and work. It's a RC, not a Beta.
