https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=446232 Summary: `opt(`keepSorting) has no effect on ncurses tables Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Beta 4 Platform: All OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: sh@novell.com ReportedBy: kmachalkova@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com CC: gs@novell.com Found By: --- Not a big deal, just a small inconsistency: ncurses table (NCTable) is always in `keepSorting mode - the items are displayed in order of insertion, regardless the option. Qt table (YQTable) without `keepSorting is sorted alphabetically by the first column, unless otherwise specified (e.g. by user clicking on different column) Table3.ycp from ycp-ui-bindings examples might serve as a testcase. In ncurses, the order of items is [ Spaghetti, Steak Sandwich, Chili, Salami Baguette ], in Qt one gets [ Chili, Salami Baguette, Spaghetti, Steak Sandwich ] Maybe using a sorted container for the items would be a solution, as the items are (I think) inserted one by one, thus one can't call setOrder(0) at once, after all items are there. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
