I have configured thunderbird to support offline mode.  When I go offline, I'm
asked if I want to download messages.  I say 'yes'.  It says it's downloading a
bunch of messages, then it finishes and goes offline.  However, when I try to
select any messages for viewing in offline mode, it says "Loading message"
forever, and doesn't ever let me see the message. 

Some time ago, this was working.  So, this is a regression in more recent
versions of Thunderbird.
