The sound buttons on my HP Compaq 6710b are without any functions since 11.1, I
was able to adjust the volume or mute in 11.0.

lshal -m shows these events:

13:22:28.940: platform_i8042_i8042_KBD_port_logicaldev_input condition
ButtonPressed = mute
13:22:30.542: platform_i8042_i8042_KBD_port_logicaldev_input condition
ButtonPressed = volume-down
13:22:32.648: platform_i8042_i8042_KBD_port_logicaldev_input condition
ButtonPressed = volume-up


If I press the mute button the sound gets muted but kmix does not show it. Even
after a few minutes it is unmuted again without I did anything.
