https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=444178 Summary: Imossible to add widgets to panel if panel at lower screen edge Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Beta 4 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: thnielsen@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Community User (Version 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3) "release 51.1" problem existed since 1st beta) target scenario is a bottom panel with an application launcher left, then show desktop, then task manager, then system tray, finally digital clock most right. IF you start by placing the panel at the top edge, you can do this relatively easy except if you place the digital clock before placing the taskbar, (then the digital closk occupies every pixel, and impossible to add anything else) Now try (kill your other panels) add panel place it at bottom amuse yourself by trying to arrange the widgets as above - you will not be able to. However again if you add the panel at top edge, arrange your widgets, and then move the panel to bottom, you are fine, but you should be able to add the widgets at bottom panel as well at will :-) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
