https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=444155 Summary: Amarok stutters with xine+pulseaudio backend Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Sound AssignedTo: tiwai@novell.com ReportedBy: suse-beta@cboltz.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer (Factory between 11.1 beta4 and beta5, Amarok and xine from packman) Amarok stutters when using the xine backend with the pulseaudio module. Unfortunately pulseaudio seems to be the default module when choosing "auto"... Amarok does not stutter when using the Yauap backend (which is not an option because fade out doesn't work with it), and it also doesn't stutter when using xine with alsa module (that's the workaround I use currently). After some searching, I guess this is caused by the kernel. # zcat /proc/config.gz |grep CONFIG_GROUP_SCHED CONFIG_GROUP_SCHED=y See also: - Bug 392037 (same issue on 11.0, was solved by unsetting CONFIG_GROUP_SCHED) - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=446192 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
