I have downloaded openSUSE 11.0 Live cd and burned it and restarted my main
machine (the one I've been writing here). Voila! It worked. Gnome started (with
an error, which I can't remember right now).  Worked pretty well. Then I put
the live cd on the Vaio laptop and it worked there too. There wasn't even the
error I saw when using main machine. Now installing it on Vaio to see how it
goes.

To repeat my question from my previous post, what would this mean? Can I raise
my hopes in being able to first try it using live cd and then install it on my
main machine?
