Honestly, I do not understand where you see the problem. But I remember we had
such discussion before.

(In reply to comment #0 from Scott Couston)
The First Install Screen Presents Language and Keyboard selection that
automatically applies to the other field that has changed.
For Example if you need to use a US Keyboard a USA Dictionary default into
place.

Like Wise if you need to use a UK Keyboard to UK Dictionary auto changes the
language module setting.

I assume by "Dictionary" you mean the Language settings.

If you change the keyboard, there's no change of language. Only if you select
new language, YaST automatically preselects the keyboard layout.

This automated function of tying both fields together only benefits 2 English
Speaking Countries in the world.

No. Most non-english languages benefit from the default, because when you
change the language, the keyboard is mapped to the language.

Every other English -UK Speaking Country will also always want a US Keyboard
and this is where this all falls apart.

If you want to have UK English as a language and US Keyboard, yes, there's no
way YaST can select this combination automatically. Is this the problem you are
describing?

The mass common use of a Natural US Keyboard will always be selected for every
other English Speaking country outside of the UK, but outside the US no
English
speaking country will want a US dictionary as it is so far away from an
acceptable Dictionary due to very large discrepancies.

There is NO logic in tying the two fields together.

There is: see above - for most languages and regions it works.

I have up-rated the bug priority in the hope it is not too late to remove this
auto selection between just two fields and I cannot log this bug against 11.1
as I am not a tester of beta Releases.

Without close attention, this simple auto action, can causes great problems
down the track if the user had not noticed that the Keyboard was auto changed
when the Selected Language was UK English and they live outside the UK. - Like
the rest of Oceania, Pacific Islands, New Zealand, Australia, parts of the
Russia and many many more other countries - they all use a US Keyboard but
will
only use a UK Dictionary.

Whilst English remains the most widely spoken language on the planet - only
the
inhabitants of the US will ever want the US dictionary.

See: the first selection in the dialog we are speaking about is the language.
If someone wants the US English, he selects "English (US)" as language and
can't be surprised when the keyboard layout is automatically selected to US.

If anyone wants to use British English, he must select "English (UK)" and here
the logical selection for keyboard is the UK one. If you want to have US
keyboard, it is just one more click in the keyboard layout selection. We can't
please anyone, and I think there are still more people in UK than in other
British English speaking countries together.
