https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=443189 Summary: Fix gnome-keyring support in pam-config Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: vuntz@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: mc@novell.com, kukuk@novell.com Blocks: 421603 Found By: --- There are two issues with the current gnome-keyring support in pam-config: + it adds the auto_start/auto_start_if options to AUTH and SESSION. While the pam module supports both, I think we only want this to happen in one place. SESSION is where this makes more sense anyway (so that the keyring daemon can be stopped at the end of the session). So I'll attach a patch to do this. + it seems that the pam_gnome_keyring.so line needs to be added after pam_unix2.so line in common-auth, else we don't have the password (at least, according to the tests I did) and so we can't unlock the keyring (which makes the pam module useless). So this implies moving mod_pam_gnome_keyring in module_list_auth (supported-modules.h). I guess it should be at least after mod_pam_unix2, but I'm not sure where...
