https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=440840 Summary: smart exits without installing any package if packages failing to download >0 Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Factory Platform: x86 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: mrmazda@ij.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Do e.g. smart upgrade --yes. Almost as often as not, one or more packages timeout or otherwise fail to download. Every time this happens, smart quits after packages download without installing any package it successfully downloaded. If I do smart upgrade --yes --stepped, it totally stops without installing anything or attempting to download more packages. When the failure is timeout, it should retry harder/more often, and keep on going, and/or install everything it succeeded to download that is not dependent on a package that failed download. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
