I've retried on my nx5000: I cannot reproduce the screen turning white on lid
switch any more. Instead I see a brief flicker but nothing else happens. In the
log I see a PM event when the lid is opened but none when the lid is closed.
This may explain Pavel's observations.
I can look at these issues - but they are not the topic of this bug.
