I have installed OOo 3.0 via the package manager, and find that a bug that was
annoying me in 2.4.0 is still there.

In the drawing toolbar there is an icon for curves, which can be selected to be
either Polygon, or Polygon 45 degree. In the first case the line segments
should be drawable at any free angle, in the second it is constrained to 45
degrees. The shift key is designed to invert the behaviour, making the free
version constrained and the constrained version free.

I find that both selections are actually the same - they are both constrained
to 45 degrees unless the shift key is used. The two icon options, rather than
being complimentary are identical.
