xorg.con an Xorg.0.log in one file (scroll down for the log)
I'm using openSUSE 11.0 currently with X.org 7.4.
I've got an Intel Essential Series Motherboard D201GLY2 with an SIS 660 onboard
graphic chipset. At the VGA port is an Cornea CT1500 flatscreen connected
(analog).
The display itself is VESA DPMS compatible and also worked with the "sis"
driver but there are other (big) errors when i use this driver (for example
white artifacts on the Screen
(http://www.minitechnet.de/uploads/pics/intel-D201GLY2_3-suse-1.jpg). With the
sis driver "xset dpms force off" or "standby" works correctly but if i try to
use the generic "vesa" driver xset only prints a black screen with an enabled
backlight.
Attached files are:
/var/log/Xorg.0.log
/etc/X11/xorg.conf:(generated with SaX2 and edited only the "vesa" as driver)
