Segmentation fault eh.. interesting. looks like we need more debuginfo.
try installing qt3-debuginfo & kdelibs3-debuginfo, then paste the backtrace &
the gdb output again.


also, what's the output of:

$rpm -qa | grep kdelibs3
$rpm -qa | grep qt3

have you tried upgrading your kde3 to the one from
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE3/openSUSE_10.3
