Well, not quite. ;-) I've seen this happen in gnome-terminal, firefox, and evolution as well. And also in Excel running under wine. These are the apps I use most frequently. I suppose they all
close their SCIM input when they close a dialog in time and thereby prevent the lockup. I've never seen any such lockup with my own programs that support input methods.
