(AFAIK much more are affected and the _DOS=0/1 workaround does not work
anymore).

added in xorg.conf seem to help/workaround this issue.

Can someone try it, pls.

Xorg+Intel graphics is Stefan Dirsch AFAIK? -> Reassigning.
Stefan, you may want to set this to needinfo to let someone test the option or
whatever you think is appropriate to get this finally fixed.
