https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=438578 Summary: Power Management set to "Never" Still Puts Display To Sleep Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jimomura@pathcom.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Community User I set the "Power Management" to "Never" put computer to sleep and "Never" put display to sleep (set in both "root" and my general user accounts). After a while (probably 40 min?) the screen still dims unless I hit a key on the keyboard. I have not tried varying the time settings to see if that much is connected. It is possible that nothing is working in this applet, or most of it is working. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
