Summary: pam_mount/dm_crypt device-mapper problem with sysfs
Product: openSUSE 11.1
Version: Beta 3
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Kernel
AssignedTo: gregkh@xxxxxxxxxx

Found By: ---

Im using a pam_mount setup on my laptop. This mounts a crypto partition while i
login. After i log out the first time and pam_mount destroys the dm device i
get a dangling symlink in sysfs.

/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1f.2/host0/target0:0:0/0:0:0:0/block/sda/sda4/holders/dm-1

which points to

./../../../../../../../../virtual/block/dm-1

which is long gone. Tace attached.
