After logging in successfully into the default KDE4 session, I activated 3D
effects and several other gimmicks. The desktop worked fine until I logged out
and wanted to login back. I can login with other window managers (Gnome) and
even with the KDE safe mode, but the regular KDE session hangs during login and
I can't even kill it with double-Ctrl-Alt-Backspace.

I will attach two kdm.log files. One shows an infinite loop (from the first 2
attempts) and the other another type of error (more recent).
