https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=434865 Summary: No keyboard reaction after diagram edit Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Factory Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: OpenOffice.org AssignedTo: kyu@novell.com ReportedBy: bernd.paysan@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Other I'm trying OpenOffice.org 3.0 in OpenSUSE 11.0 from the UNSTABLE branch. I lost keyboard reaction (i.e. OO.o doesn't react on keyboard events) several times after editing the properties of a diagram, however, it's not very reproducible. What I could reproduce was the following: I inserted a diagram, and then double-clicked on it to change properties. I change the property of a line, e.g. line width by typing in the new line width. After that, quite often no further keyboard input is possible. If I change the line width by using the mouse, nothing bad happens. Similar when I add new data sources to the diagram - quite often, afterwards no keyboard input is possible. I'm using the Nvidia proprietary driver - after updating that to the just released latest version, this problem seems to be gone, or at least happens so much less frequent that it's not noticeable. However, it's still daunting to me that such a thing can happen at all - maybe a race condition that depends on X server speed? No such problems are seen in OO.o 2.4. I'm reporting this here, because the upstream bugzilla is currently not reachable for ./ing www.openoffice.org ;-). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
