Thanks. I wanted to make sure this wasn't technically a YaST-GTK issue, but a
SLAB one (which is the tool that powers the application-browser and the
y2controlcenter-gnome one). Let's try to forward this to those guys.
SLAB bugs seem to usually take a long time to fix though, so you might want to
try to remove root's .gconf* stuff or maybe the .gnome2* ones to get a working
system in the meanwhile (of course, don't actually remove them, just "mv" them
to some "-old" suffix).
By the way, also please fill the Hardware fill (is the machine 32 or 64-bit?).
It seems like 64-bit don't seem to get tested as much and I've seen weird
issues on those...
