Holger: I can reproduce the "ugly splash" issue; only the left half of the
display is used and it looks like it's used with the wrong color depth.
But it no longer crashes and I can abort the suspend, so it is much better than
before. ;-)
Removing /etc/fb.modes fixes the "ugly splash" issue, too, so we should
probably do that ;-))
