Random corrupted bytes in the middle of a file usually indicates faulty ram or
dram driven too fast and /dev/sde and sdf are timing out SMART ENABLE
OPERATIONS issued by smartd, which is kind of surprising. What are those
devices? Can you please post the results of "hdparm -I /dev/sde" and "hdparm
-I /dev/sdf" and kernel boot log? Although timing out SMART ENABLE OPERATIONS
is unusual failure mode, it's an isolated problem and the third problem you
reported which is ATA exception messages during heavy disk load could be an
actual problem but I can't tell much without looking at the log, and please
post a separate report for the fourth eth problem. It's most likely completely
unrelated and looks more like driver bug or actual hardware problem to me.
There's no way that many packets can be transferred during 30secs.
