Well, I rather disagree. First off, PCI SSID isn't alway unique. Different
boards may have the same PCI SSID by whatever reason. Unless we give an option
to re-enable this workaround, we shouldn't put it unconditionally.
BTW, is the BIOS problem already checked? In many cases, the BIOS update fixes
such a problem...
So... If we confirm that this particular buggy board is the only owner of this
PCI SSID, and also confirm that every model of this board is broken, then yes,
we should put such a check into the kernel core or driver. Other than that,
it's a potential regression.
