your second issue has been fixed on my machine only not on yours.
I can't reproduce why Disable "dri" should be part of xorg.conf if called
with sax2 -r -a... this needs to be clarified first
I called
sax2 -r -a on your d255 machine and did _not_ get Disable "dri" included
???
